So few of us have the courage to speak our mind. To disregard the inhumanities in life is not only cowardly but it also shows great disrespect to people such as, Charles Chaplin, who did society a favor by speaking in our best behalf, even enduring the repercussions. Let him stand as an example to us youth, to those of us who are humane, we have the choice not to witness humanity crash down with stitched lips and deaf ears. -emily

That couldn't have been stated better. I went to go see Henry Rollins last night; another man who is not at all afraid to speak his mind (he spoke last night for 3 and 1/2 hours straight without even pausing to take a sip of water!) and tell stories of the war torn countries he has recently visited. If you get a chance to go and see him while he is on tour, do so. You will get your money's worth. We all need to carefully listen and vigilantly observe what goes on around us and not be afraid to speak out against what we feel is wrong. No one else can speak for you.

Thank you very much for the nice compliment. -emily

Emily, I couldn't agree with you more! As a teacher and a mother, it scares me to see what is going on in our world. There seems to be a growing under-current of people like us. One day, I feel sure, we will change things. We have to!
