Smile

Hello! I love Charlie! I love how he made the whole wide world laugh. He made people forget about wars, about their personal problems for a while. Whenever Halloween would roll around, I would try my best to be a really good Charlie. It always fills my heart to see the smiles. I get teary-eyed when someone would come up to me and say, "You remind me of Charlie." I often had to touch up my white face paint! My favorite Halloween was three years ago when 150 holocaust survivors had a reunion in our dining room. I loved hearing them call out Charlie's name and requesting photos with me. That was the ULTIMATE. I handed out a lot of Tootsie Rolls that day and printouts of my favorite song that Charlie wrote, "Smile". I love looking at all the other Charlies. Smiles to all.... Kathy
