"Tomorrow the Birds Will Sing"

That line was all it took to get me hooked on Charlie Chaplin two years ago when I was fourteen. I absolutely fell in love with "City Lights" and shortly upon seeing it went out to my local library and checked out every Chaplin film there. For my birthday I asked for any Charlie Chaplin film on DVD my parents could find. They also bought me a Charlie Chaplin purse, which I've worn practically every day since. I showed my best friend one of Charlie's movies and she is now a fan as well and so are my parents. Last Halloween I dressed up as the Little Tramp and recently stumbled upon this website while searching the internet for a Charlie Chaplin tee-shirt. For fun, I decided to enter my photos in the contest and see what would happen. I am a sixteen year old girl(fifteen at the time these pictures were taken) and I have always loved old films, my parents having raised me on "The Marx Brothers" and "I Love Lucy" when I was young. Though I am probably one of the younger fans on this website, I am still as infatuated and amazed by the work of this brilliant man as anyone else. I also really enjoy making silent films with our digital video camera, listening to Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darren and Scott Joplin as well as acting in theater and writing stories and screenplays.
