The Chaplin office in Paris represents the Chaplin rightsholding companies (see below), as well as the Chaplin family. Its representatives also manage the Chaplin archives, approve certain Chaplin-related projects, and sometimes help out with such projects (film distribution, screenings, books, exhibitions, research, documentaries, stage shows, etc.)

The Chaplin studios’ and personal archives have been scanned by the Cineteca di Bologna in Italy, who to our great joy found sponsoring from “The Fondazione Cassa di Risparnio in Bologna” to set up a Chaplin project. The entire catalogue of the archives, with some reproductions of documents, is now available online. Full consultation of the entire database is now possible at the Cineteca’s library, or on special request to Roy Export.

Bubbles Inc SA

Bubbles Incorporated S.A. owns rights with respect to Charlie Chaplin and his Little Tramp character, including the right to grant commercial use of his name, nickname, image, likenesses, photographs, descriptions, biography, supports, and other aspect of his identity, in relation with the distribution and exploitation of all types of products and services or with all other kinds of exploitations of the activities of the person of Charles Chaplin as the Little Tramp.

Association Chaplin

The Association Chaplin was founded by some of Chaplin’s children “to protect the name, image and moral rights” to his body of work. The only members of the Association are Chaplin family members.
